How to Create a Live Wallpaper with LivePix
LivePix turns videos on your phone into Live Photos that you can use as animated iPhone Lock Screen wallpapers.
LivePhoto.video prepares an exported clip. LivePix creates and saves the Live Photo after you tap Export. Setting it as wallpaper is a separate step in the iPhone Photos app.
Prepare Your Source Video
If your video is already in iPhone Photos, continue to Step 1. To trim or reframe it on the web first, use Video to Live Photo, download the result, and make it available in iPhone Photos before opening LivePix.
The downloaded file is an exported clip, not a Live Photo. LivePix creates the Live Photo from that clip on your iPhone.
Step 1: Allow Photo Access
When you first open LivePix, tap Allow Full Access so the app can select videos and save your finished Live Photos.

Step 2: Start a New Project
Tap New Project.

Step 3: Choose a Video
Select the video you want to turn into a Live Photo.

Step 4: Trim the Clip
Drag the yellow handles on the timeline to keep the part you want. You can also add filters, text, or stickers and adjust the aspect ratio.

Step 5: Export the Live Photo
Preview your edit, then tap Export in the upper-right corner.

Step 6: Wait for Processing
LivePix will create the Live Photo automatically. Keep LivePix open until processing is complete.

Step 7: Save to Photos
When processing is complete, press and hold the preview to check the motion. Then tap Save to Photos.

Step 8: Confirm the Save
When Save Success appears, the Live Photo has been saved to your photo library. Tap OK to finish.

Set the Live Photo as Wallpaper
When you are ready to use it on your Lock Screen, see How to Set a Live Photo as Wallpaper on iPhone.
